Atmosphere in the house was quite. Interior was pretty and unusual, we liked it! Also house is located in the old building with terrace on roof, near the old part of the city and ferry terminal - it is useful if you need first ferry to Dar es Salaam. Plus guest house has a storage room for a luggage.

Our stay in Malindi guesthouse was in more than one way excellent. The staff, headed by Mahmoud, was always very friendly and ready to assist, be it day or night. When we arrived unexpectedly during the middle of the night, Mahmoud immediately sorted out a room. In that way, we could have a much needed rest before we even started to explore Stone Town and other parts of Zanzibar. As we both suffer from physical disabilities, we could not always have breakfast on the beautiful third floor rooftop terrace. No problem. The ladies that cooked breakfast brought it down to our bedroom on the ground floor whenever we asked for it. On those occasions that we managed to climb up, we were always assisted down by caring staff members. Any queries or requests were promptly addressed effectively. Be they requests for day tours or just buying cooldrinks or other smaller things from nearby shops. We could go on and on but you should experience the politeness, friendliness, humour and care of the Malindi staff for yourself.

The stuff running Malindi Guest House are very nice and friendly people. Starting from Mr. Mahmoud, the manager, to the pretty girls who served us breakfast in the morning even to the Masai guard. All of them always welcome us and smile in our face. Very decent stuff and all of them were chosen carefully for sure Thanks to all of them

It was just wonderful , personal very kind and helpful and very good services and the room is so clean so beautiful, the hte is near to everything, 8 minutes to go to faradhani Park and commercial centre and souk I'm in love and I recommend this htel to all travels you will like it really..

It is 100% value for money if you want a cheap stay at a very convenient location. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was really nice and the ladies cooking it were very friendly!

A good place for a short stay in the city. The advantage is the original decor, thanks to which you can feel the history of not only the place, but also the entire Zanzibar. Thanks to the location, you can get to Stone Town very quickly, but also feel the atmosphere of everyday life.
